Sarah Maripe started with Retail Group from the get-go back in 2000 when the Company opened its first Debonairs Pizza store in Botswana. She began her career as a Cashier, was promoted to Kitchen Supervisor, thereafter, moving into an Assistant Manager role where she opened Debonairs Pizza Kgale. Upon the Branch Manager’s resignation, Sarah was presented with the perfect opportunity to fulfil this role as the acting branch manager, which she competently held for a two-year period, thereafter being appointed permanently.

Sarah was at the forefront of the growth of Retail Group where she opened many Debonairs Pizza stores over the years. Through her proven ability and her dedication to the growth and roll-out of the Company, she was chosen as one of the parties to enrol on Retail Group’s succession programme. The company invested in Sarah going to Sand Sledge to attain a Trainer of Trainers qualification. Having passed, Retail Group enrolled Sarah at Ba Isago University where she is presently completing her Business Management course. She is very thankful to Retail Group for placing their trust in her. But WAIT it doesn’t stop here, Sarah plays a bigger role within Retail Group as her store is one of THE Debonairs Pizza “Trainee Stores” where new employees go to be trained in production. Sarah’s enthusiasm rests not only in growing personally but has an abundance of passion and enjoyment to train and grow people within the broader scope of Retail Group.

Having joined Retail Group at a very tender age, the Company has supported and travelled with Sarah through her personal milestones of marriage, babies and more. She confirms that the culture is very caring, loving, and supportive. THEY HAVE A HEART TO HELP PEOPLE. Sarah is aspiring towards becoming a Debonairs Pizza Franchise Manager and with her commitment and enthusiasm she has no reason to not reach this goal.
